Members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 17th CPC Central Committee will meet with the press in the East Hall, first floor of the Great Hall of the People at around 11:00 AM on 22 October 2007. The arrangements concerning the coverage of the meeting are as follows:
1. Please apply for invitations at the Reception Desk for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Journalists and the Reception Desk for Foreign Journalists of the Press Center of the 17th National Congress of CPC by 21:00 PM, 21 October. Any application after 21:00 PM will not be accepted.
2. The Press Center will arrange buses at the East Entrance of the St. Regis Hotel at 9:00 AM, 22 October to transport journalists to the Great Hall of the People.
3. Starting from 9:40 AM, journalists, taking the Congress press accreditation card and invitation (one invitation for each journalist), are requested to enter the Great Hall of the People through East Gate after security check, and take seats or stand by in the East Hall following the guidance of the working staff of the Press Center.
4. Press vehicles with Vehicle Pass are requested to be parked in the designated area at the Tiananmen Square.
5. Live radio and TV public signals of the meeting will be provided in the TV and Radio Service Room of the Press Center of the Congress located in the Media Center Hotel.
6. After the meeting is over, journalists are requested to exit the East Hall through its South Gate in an orderly manner, obtain materials outside the Hall, and exit the Great Hall of the People through the East Gate.
